|   |  Pre-Operative Instructions Before Local Anesthesia Only Appointments - You may have a light meal and liquids before your procedure.
- You should be able to drive home after your procedure, but you should arrange for a friend to drive you home if you are anxious about your procedure to help reduce your stress level.
- If you wear dentures, they will be removed at the time of surgery.
- Do not wear lipstick, excessive makeup, eye mascara or nail polish on the day of surgery.
- You should brush your teeth prior to coming for your procedure.
- If you have an illness such as a cold, sore throat, stomach or bowel upset, please notify the office to see if your procedure can still be performed.
- If you take routine oral medications, please check your pre op instruction sheet (see instruction #9) or check with our office prior to your surgical date for instructions.
- If necessary, you should take your antibiotic premedication 60 minutes before your appointment.
